Hello Loyal CBC Enthusiasts,

As of December 2005, the most current news - direct from Camp Betty Campout Producer Jennefer White - is that she intends to put the festival on at some point in the future, perhaps as early as 2007, however, she has no firm plans at this time.

I just jammed with her down here in Mendocino County.
She rocks.....what a nice nice person too!!!

I wish I could get her to stay for NorCalWomen's

Lila Nelson was there too.....equally awesome.
She should be opening for Amelia tonight.....

Hello All,

The boards are all tidy and I'm feeling pretty done, so I'll be checking in less frequently for the next while.

A great group of people have found value in these boards as a place to connect and communicate, even in the wake of the cancelled event that originally brought everyone together.

How things take shape from here remains to be seen.

Hi everybody,

As we mentioned in the other post, instead of hosting a show with the same performers as the SF show and potentially diluting the audience, we're going to be at and in support of the SF concert (and we already let the Rose Street community know about that as well).

However, Rose Street House of Music, a Berkeley-based house concert & touring musical community featuring women singer/songwriters, with a focus on poetic music of substance & depth has other events coming up more in the future...

Our next concert at Rose Street (on-site) is August 12, Friday, 8pm featuring Camp Betty artist Irina Rivkin & Rose Street regular Emily Shore, both solo and in collaboration! www.rosestreetmusic.com/irinarivkin.htm & www.emilyshore.com

then, August 15, Monday 7:30pm gather, start at 8pm, we're hosting a SongsAlive! Songs-in-progress workshop/group – songwriters of all genders welcome – bring your songs and share feedback.

There will be a Rose Street Harmony Tour, going to Portland, Seattle, Vashon, and other concerts in Davis, Guerneville, etc. Also, many Rose Street artists will be playing at the Northern CA Women's Music Festival in Laytonville

All these shows will be on www.rosestreetmusic.com in a few days (next time our web designer can do the updates)

Due to the environmental sensitivities of some of the folks who come to rose street (including the hosts) shows at Rose Street are fragrance-free show (no perfume, patchouli, etc.).
